SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON BAKRID

Bakrid is an annual festival celebrated by the Muslim community. It is also called a festival of sacrifice because it honors the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God’s command. Muslims celebrates this festival by offering special prayers, greetings, and gifts. To mark the festival special assembly was conducted on 09-8-19 i.e. Friday, in which our students spoke about the importance of Bakrid and reason why it’s celebrated. They also stated the important practices like distribution of meat among relatives and chanting the takbir.
