Indian Army Day is observed every year on 15th January to honor the bravery, dedication, and supreme sacrifice of the soldiers of the Indian Army. This day commemorates the historic occasion in 1949 when General K. M. Cariappa became the first Indian Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army.
At Excellia School, Indian Army Day was observed with great respect and patriotism. On this occasion, our respected Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Meenu Srivastava, addressed the students and spoke about the courage, discipline, and selfless service of the Indian Army. She highlighted the vital role of the Army in safeguarding the nation’s borders and maintaining peace and unity.
The celebration helped students develop a deep sense of gratitude and respect for the brave soldiers who dedicate their lives to the service of the nation. The observance of Indian Army Day at Excellia School inspired young minds to honor the sacrifices of our soldiers and uphold the values of patriotism and national pride.
