Republic Day was celebrated with great joy and patriotic fervour on 26th January in the Excellia School campus. This day symbolizes the implementation of the Constitution of India, and the entire school family observed it with pride, respect, and enthusiasm. From early morning, the school campus resonated with patriotic songs, creating an atmosphere filled with national spirit.
The programme commenced with an impressive march past presented by the students, conveying a strong message of discipline, unity, and love for the nation. This was followed by the hoisting of the National Flag by Director Sir Mr. Ashish Pathak, Director Ma’am Mrs. Shalini Pathak, and Principal Mrs. Meenu Srivastava, after which everyone proudly sang the National Anthem. The presence of the Chief Guest Captain A. K. Dixit, Mentor Sir Dr. S. K. Mishra ,School Advisor Mr. Praveen Pandey and Head Mistress Mrs. Sangeeta Singh further added grace to the occasion.
As part of the cultural programme, students presented captivating patriotic dances and songs that beautifully reflected India’s rich culture and unity in diversity. A special attraction of the event was the fancy dress competition by the young children, where they mesmerized everyone by dressing up as freedom fighters, soldiers, and Bharat Mata. One of the most thrilling moments of the celebration was the pyramid formation by the students, showcasing their strength, teamwork, and courage.
In her inspiring address at the end of the programme, our respected Principal ma’am Mrs. Meenu Srivastava encouraged students to uphold the constitutional values of justice, equality, and freedom, and to become responsible citizens of the nation.
The celebration successfully instilled feelings of patriotism, national unity, and pride among the students. The programme concluded with the singing of Vande Mataram, followed by the distribution of sweets.
