World Computer Literacy Day and National Pollution Control Day – Program Celebrated in the School

Today, World Computer Literacy Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and awareness at our school, Excellia School. On this occasion, a special assembly was organized, in which students received inspirational ideas on digital education, cyber security, and the correct use of technology, stressing the importance of computers in the modern age. Class 9 students received information about the importance of computers.

​Various activities were organized by the school’s Computer Lab, such as typing competitions, coding basics activities, quizzes, and technical model exhibitions.

Student of Class II A Saiansh Vidhwani achieved a participation award in Lawn tennis. 

​Excellia celebrated National Pollution Control Day, which aimed to spread awareness among students about environmental protection and pollution control. The program began with a special morning prayer, which gave a message about the ill effects of pollution and the importance of a clean and pure environment. Students of Class 9 were explained in simple language about the causes and effects of air, water, and sound pollution, and the methods of controlling and stopping them. Students also organized poster-making, essay writing, and slogan competitions, with a special focus on messages like: “Clean Air, Healthy Life” and “Green Earth, Our Dream”.Principal Ma’am Mrs. Meenu Srivastava concluded the program by aiming to make students digitally competent, use the internet safely, and use technology for the welfare of society, as well as encouraging students to play an active role in stopping pollution, planting trees, reducing the use of plastic, and maintaining cleanliness. The program successfully aroused environmental sensitivity in the students and was celebrated successfully on the school premises.
