E-WASTE AWARENESS PROGRAMME
As a part of the Eco Club initiative, an E-Waste Awareness PPT Presentation was conducted for the students of Classes I to V by Mansi Ma’am and Nivedita Ma’am.
The session aimed to make students aware of e-waste, its sources, harmful effects on the environment, and the importance of proper disposal. Students were introduced to common e-waste items such as old mobile phones, computers, keyboards, chargers, batteries and other electronic devices.
The presentation also highlighted the importance of the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Students were encouraged to avoid throwing electronic waste in regular dustbins and to participate actively in the school’s E-Waste Collection Drive.
The activity was interactive and helped students understand that small responsible actions can make a big difference in keeping our environment clean, safe and healthy.
