The Pre-Primary Section of *Excellia School* celebrated Independence Day on 15 August 2026 with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The classrooms and corridors were beautifully decorated with tricolour flags and creative handmade crafts prepared by the little ones. The children looked adorable in their tricolour ethnic attire, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The celebration began with the patriotic song *“Nanha Munna Rahi Hoon, Desh Ka Sipahi Hoon,”* followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Our tiny tots participated enthusiastically in colouring activities, rhymes, and simple dance performances that filled the atmosphere with pride and joy.
The teachers narrated short and inspiring stories about India’s freedom struggle in an age-appropriate manner, helping the children understand the significance of Independence Day and the values of courage, unity, and love for the nation.
The celebration concluded with a creative group activity in which the children made tricolour badges and paper flags to take home as a symbol of their love and respect for the country.
It was a heartwarming and memorable celebration that successfully instilled the early values of *patriotism, unity, respect, and love for our nation* in the young minds of our little learners.
